The 2019 Electric Daisy Carnival
Several hundred thousand people attend the Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC, the 23rd edition of which lights up the Speedway this year from Friday, May 17th through Sunday, May 19th.
Las Vegas and the Speedway have been host to the EDC since 2011, though the festival itself dates back to the early 1990s. Bigger than ever these days, the EDC has expanded on a global level, with versions also going down this year in such locations as Japan and South Korea.
It draws some of the biggest DJs and bands in electronic dance music and related genres to Sin City while also entertaining its festivalgoers with carnival rides, interactive art installations, roving performers, and other delights. The EDC is defined by its welcoming, come-one-come-all spirit and its exhilarating, immersive, multisensory experience.
The 2019 lineup for EDC Las Vegas includes Above & Beyond, Chris Lake, Snakehips, Salvatore Ganacci, Adventure Club, Walker & Royce, Ghastly, Black Coffee, and The Glitch Mob, among many others. (Check out the full roster of EDC stage performers here.)
The festival talent isn’t confined to the stage, of course—not with the circus artists, dancers, stilt-walkers, and other EDC performers roaming the grounds.
You’ll also get to crank up the thrills on the festival rides—including the famous Ferris wheels—and engage with plentiful LED art.
The EDC kicks off with Friday’s Opening Ceremony from 4 to 7 PM, with the festival grounds then open each of the three days from 7 PM to 5:30 AM. You can check out the festival FAQ here, and seek out tickets—which range from General Admission to VIP—here.
