Florida SuperCon: Costumes, Celebrities, Gaming, and Much, Much More

They call it “the biggest pop culture party in Florida”: one giant gathering of fans, creators, and celebrities centered on science fiction, anime, cosplay, comic books, popular films and TV shows, and the like. This year’s Florida SuperCon runs July 4^th through the 7^th, calling home the ample spaces of the Miami Beach Convention Center (1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL) for the duration. The action’s anchored by the 500,000 decked-out square feet of the Main Exhibition Room.

There’s always an absolutely packed-to-the-gills schedule at Florida SuperCon: celebrity panels and Q&As, autographs and pictures with famous faces (and minds), multiple costume contests, live music, tabletop gaming rooms, cosplay photo booths, video-game tournaments and free play, and much else.

Among the celebrity guests at the 2019 Florida SuperCon are George Takei of Star Trek fame, Danielle Panabaker of The Flash, and Benedict Wong of Doctor Strange, plus several actors from the much-loved NBC comedy series The Office.
